Scholarships

Paul Mitchell The School Tulsa offers scholarships to support our Future Professionals.

These scholarships are intended to assist with tuition and fees and will be included in the financial assistance package. Please note that they are considered a resource and will be included in the cost of attendance calculations. Only one scholarship will be awarded per qualified applicant.

Awarded scholarships hold no cash value.

15 Years of Excellence Scholarship

Paul Mitchell The School Tulsa offers a scholarship for individuals who are enrolling in the Cosmetology and Esthetics programs from September 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026.

  • Candidates must sign the enrollment agreement for the Cosmetology program or the Esthetics program between September 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026.
  • Scholarships are awarded in the amount of $1500 for the cosmetology program and $500 for the esthetics program. 
  • A scholarship credit will be applied to the Future Professional’s account at the conclusion of each payment period in the program the Future Professional is enrolled in. The credit amount in each payment period will be calculated by dividing the total scholarship by the number of payment periods in the program.
  • Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress at the end of each payment period to remain eligible. See the catalog for SAP details.
  • Recipients will forfeit the remaining disbursement(s) of their scholarship if they fail to complete the program or achieve the eligibility requirements.
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP

The Paul Mitchell Schools Scholarship is offered to students chosen by the Scholarship Committee.

  • Scholarship applications must be submitted prior to signing the enrollment agreement. 
  • Students must have a valid high school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Students must submit a sealed, official high school transcript via physical envelope or a digital credential service (e.g., Parchment) showing a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Students must submit two (2) letters of recommendation from an employer, supervisor, teacher, or other individual who can speak about their community involvement. 
  • Students must submit a written or video of 500 words or fewer—or five (5) minutes or fewer for video essay submissions.
  • Unlimited scholarships in the amount of $500 will be available.
  • A scholarship credit will be applied to the Future Professional’s account at the conclusion of each payment period in the program they are enrolled in. The credit amount in each payment period will be calculated by dividing the total scholarship by the number of payment periods in the program. 
  • To remain eligible, students must maintain satisfactory academic progress at the end of each applicable payment period to remain eligible. 
  • Recipients will forfeit their scholarships if they fail to complete the program or achieve the eligibility requirements.
PAUL MICHELL SCHOOLS HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP

The Paul Mitchell Schools High School Scholarship is offered to students chosen by the Scholarship Committee.

  • Scholarship applications must be submitted prior to signing the enrollment agreement for the Cosmetology program or the Esthetics program.
  • Current High School Senior must complete the application process by May 1st.
  • Students must receive his or her high school diploma prior to the chosen enrollment date.
  • Students must submit a sealed, official High School Transcript via physical envelope or a digital credential service (e.g., Parchment).
  • Students must submit two (2) letters of recommendation from an employer, supervisor, teacher, or other individual who can speak about their community involvement.
  • Students must submit a written or video of 500 words or fewer—or five (5) minutes or fewer for video essay submissions.
  • Unlimited scholarships in the amount of $1000 for the cosmetology program and $500 for the esthetics program will be available.

BACHELOR’S DEGREE SCHOLARSHIP – FALL 2026 AND SPRING 2027

Paul Mitchell The School Tulsa offers a scholarship for individuals with Bachelor's degrees who are enrolling in the Cosmetology and Esthetics programs.

  • Scholarship applications must be completed and submitted prior to signing the enrollment agreement.
  • Candidates must have successfully earned his or her bachelor’s degree before applying for the scholarship and prior to the chosen enrollment date.
  • Applicants are required to provide proof of graduation by submitting a bachelor’s degree diploma or a sealed, college transcript by mail from the college or a digital credential service (e.g., Parchment).
  • Applications will be reviewed by Paul Mitchell The School Tulsa’s Scholarship Committee, and all decisions made by the committee will be final.
  • Scholarships are awarded in the amount of $1000 for the cosmetology program and $500 for the esthetics program. These funds remain available until the total scholarship cap of $10,000 is reached. 
  • If no eligible applications are submitted, the scholarship will be void.
  • A scholarship credit will be applied to the Future Professional’s account at the conclusion of each payment period in the program the Future Professional is enrolled in. The credit amount in each payment period will be calculated by dividing the total scholarship by the number of payment periods in the program.
  • Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress at the end of each payment period to remain eligible.
  • Recipients will forfeit the remaining disbursement(s) of their scholarship if they fail to complete the program or achieve the eligibility requirements.
OPPORTUNITIES SCHOLARSHIP

The Opportunity Scholarship is offered to students who are first-generation students. A first-generation student is defined as a student whose parents have no more than two years of education beyond high school and no post-secondary degree.

Scholarship Criteria:
  • The FASFA must indicate that neither parent's education level is above high school. 
  • Scholarship applications must be completed and submitted prior to signing the enrollment agreement.
  • Students are eligible for a one-time maximum award of $500.00
  • Students will be eligible to receive the non-cash award in scholarship credits of $250.00 at the end of each applicable payment period.
  • Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress at the end of each applicable payment period to remain eligible.
  • Recipients will forfeit the remaining disbursement(s) of their scholarship if they fail to achieve the eligibility requirements.
  • If the student withdraws, scholarship refunds will be prorated using the same formula as the institutional tuition refund policy.
UNIVERSAL SCHOLARSHP - $500.00 ESTHETICS

The Universal Scholarship is offered to students enrolled in the esthetics program and chosen by the Scholarship Committee.

  • Scholarship applications must be submitted prior to signing the enrollment agreement.
  • Students must have a valid high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Students must submit a sealed, official High School Transcript via physical envelope or a digital credential service (e.g., Parchment) showing a minimum GPA 3.0.

  • Four (4) scholarships in the amount $500.00 will be available for the Esthetics Program.
  • If no eligible applications are submitted, the scholarship will be void.
  • A scholarship credit will be applied to the Future Professional’s account at the conclusion of each payment period in the program they are enrolled in. The credit amount in each payment period will be calculated by dividing the total scholarship by the number of payment periods in the program.
  • Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress at the end of each payment period to remain eligible.
  • Recipients will forfeit their scholarships if they fail to complete the program or achieve the eligibility requirements.
  • Scholarships may be applied to tuition. Scholarship funds may not be applied to the student kit.
  • Scholarship winners must fulfill ALL admissions requirements.

UNIVERSAL SCHOLARSHIP - $1,000.00 COSMETOLOGY

The Universal Scholarship is offered to students enrolled in the cosmetology program and chosen by the Scholarship Committee.

  • Scholarship applications must be submitted prior to signing the enrollment agreement.
  • Students must have a valid high school diploma or equivalent.

ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP

Paul Mitchell The School Tulsa provides an Alumni Scholarship to graduates of its cosmetology or esthetics programs who wish to enroll in an additional program at the school.

  • Candidates must be a Paul Mitchell The School Tulsa graduate.
  • Scholarships are awarded in the amount of $500 for cosmetology graduates enrolling in the esthetics program and $1,000 for esthetics graduates enrolling in the cosmetology program.
  • A scholarship credit will be applied to the Future Professional’s account at the conclusion of each payment period in the program the Future Professional is enrolled in. The credit amount in each payment period will be calculated by dividing the total scholarship by the number of payment periods in the program.
  • Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress at the end of each payment period to remain eligible.
  • Recipients will forfeit the remaining disbursement(s) of their scholarship if they fail to complete the program or achieve the eligibility requirements.
